Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of the CDA Project?

The CDA Project aims to track and analyze compromised Discord accounts, malicious URLs, and other security threats. It provides a comprehensive database for security professionals and researchers to monitor and respond to emerging threats.

How can I contribute to the project?

You can contribute by sharing automod logs from your Discord server that contain data on malicious activities. These logs help improve the database and enhance the overall security of the platform.

Is the data in the database publicly accessible?

Yes, the database is publicly accessible through the UI or directly on the GitHub Repository, however, certain details such as the source server of the data may remain confidential at the request of the server owners.

I found myself in the database. How can I get removed?

If your account has been flagged in the database, you can contact me via Discord at sinewave_ using the same account that was listed in the database. This allows me to verify your identity and confirm that your account is no longer compromised. While we do not remove accounts from the database, we update the case status to RECOVERED, ensuring that your account is no longer flagged as a security risk.

Is this project free?

Yes, this project is and will remain free to access and use. Our goal is to provide an open and accessible resource for security researchers and server owners.

Can I help with the project?

Absolutely! Community contributions are welcome. If you have improvements, suggestions, or data to share, you can submit a pull request (PR) on the project's GitHub repository.

I found an issue with the website, how can I report it?

If you've discovered any issues with the website, please feel free to report them directly to me on Discord at sinewave_, or alternatively, you can open an Issue on the project's GitHub repository. As the project is currently in beta status, your feedback is especially valuable and helps me improve the platform. All reports are greatly appreciated and contribute to the development of a more stable and reliable service.
